NNS ADix - How to...Set User Passwords

This topic describes how to set user passwords with NNS ADix.

In order to set the password for an user object perform the following steps:

• Use the attribute 'userPassword' in the import file
• Edit the values for the attribute 'userPassword'
• Save the changes made to the import file
• Import the file

Note:
    Please take in mind that the user password must be compliant with the domain security policy.
    E.g. if this policy prescribes a password length of 8 characters, you cannot set a password which is consists of less than 8 characters.
