This topic describes how to clear the value of an attribute
with.
If you want to clear/delete an attribute value, you must use the \CLR\-string in the import file
for every attribute which
value(s) should be deleted.
Example:
The following example clears the value of the attribute 'description':
path;class;description
LDAP://cn=j.doe,cn=users,dc=dom,dc=com;\CLR\
Note:
The \CRL\-string is case sensitive. Therefore always
write the string in capital letters.
Further this string must be the only value to set. Otherwise
the attribute value(s) will not be cleared. E.g. instead the whole
value will be set: \CLR\This is a description
